LOT.201 WORK TROUSERS

The work trousers, based on work pants made in the U.S. in the 1940s, have a low-rise silhouette characterized by straight lines dropping cleanly from the thighs. The waistband features buttons on the reverse side, allowing for styling with suspenders.
The striped fabric is inspired by mélange stripes used in French jackets from the 1920s and 1930s. Analysis of the original textile revealed the use of five different warp yarns and a distinctive double-warp weave structure. After careful consideration of yarn thicknesses and combinations, the fabric has been developed exclusively for this garment.
