We cannot assume any responsibility or liability for accidents, damages, or losses resulting from the use of our products. We kindly ask that you thoroughly inspect and understand the product before use.

As our products are dyed with natural dyes, variations in color and uneven dyeing may occur. Additionally, colors may fade or transfer due to prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, friction, or moisture. Please avoid pairing or layering our products with white or light-colored items as much as possible.

The iron hardware used for buttons, rivets, buckles, etc., faithfully reproduces vintage details. Since the original materials are also faithfully replicated without anti-rust treatments, the hardware may rust through use or present potential hazards (such as sharp pin edges). Please handle with care.

The sizes for each item are listed on their respective product pages.
Please note in advance that even for the same item, individual differences of 1 to 2 cm may occur during the production and processing stages.
Tucks and gathers are measured with the product laid naturally and flat, without being stretched.

We do not accept requests for alterations on our online store. Please bring the item to our Gion store, or if you live far away or are in a hurry, we kindly ask that you consult a local alteration specialist.

ORDERS

Please note in advance that all sales are final, and we cannot accept cancellations or changes for personal reasons once your order has been placed.

Member registration is not required to make a purchase; you are welcome to checkout as a guest.

By registering as a member, your necessary purchase information will be saved, making your next checkout easier. You will also be able to check your purchase history on your My Page. Furthermore, you can use the same member information at our physical stores, and exclusive services may be offered only for members.

When making a purchase at our stores, please log in and present the barcode displayed on your My Page.

We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB) under the name of the purchasing user, as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • Domestic Shipping (Within Japan): A flat shipping fee of 1,000 JPY (including tax) applies.
  • International Shipping: Our items are priced specifically for overseas markets. Therefore, for international shipments, the prices converted into the overseas market pricing will be displayed on the checkout page. Shipping fees vary by region, so please confirm the exact amount during checkout.
    The final price displayed at the time of checkout includes all customs duties and import consumption taxes. You will not be required to pay any additional fees upon delivery.
    Current available areas for international shipping: USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Europe (excluding certain regions).

Our gift wrapping service is available, making it perfect for gifts. To use this service, please check the "Request Gift Wrapping" box on the cart page before proceeding. All price tags and invoices showing the price will be removed before shipping.

  • Gift Wrapping Fee: 550 JPY (including tax)

Your items will be packaged in our original gift box tailored to the item size.

  • Small Box: D 22.5 cm x W 31.5 cm x H 5.0 cm
  • Large Box: D 30.5 cm x W 41.0 cm x H 5.0 cm

Please note that you cannot specify the size of the gift box.

SHIPPING TIME & DELIVERY

Orders are typically shipped within 1 to 5 business days after payment confirmation.

Please note in advance that during company holidays or the New Year period, shipping may take approximately 2 weeks from the completion of your order. Furthermore, deliveries may be delayed in the event of high order volumes, severe weather, traffic conditions, or depending on the delivery region.

Date and time specifications are available for domestic shipping within Japan. Please select your preferred date and time when placing your order.
*Please be aware that requested delivery dates and times do not apply to international orders.

All ordered items will be shipped from within Japan.

Items will be shipped per individual order. Please note that we cannot combine multiple separate orders into a single shipment, even if they are sent to the same shipping address.

Please note in advance that we cannot accommodate any changes to the delivery address once an order has been placed.

Once your shipment is completed, a "Shipping Confirmation Email" containing your tracking number will be sent to your registered email address. You can check the delivery status using the tracking number via Sagawa Express Package Track System.

To ensure the speediest and safest delivery possible, the Company selects the optimal carrier based on the destination country/region, as well as the size and weight of the items.

We primarily use the following carriers: FedEx / UPS / EMS (Japan Post).

Please note in advance that we cannot accept requests to specify a particular carrier. You can confirm your tracking number and the assigned carrier name in the "Shipping Confirmation Email" sent after dispatch.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We do not accept returns for personal reasons.
Please note in advance that we cannot process refunds for items returned without prior notice, or for returns and cancellations due to refusal of delivery.

However, we will accept returns or exchanges in the event of damage, defects, or incorrect items upon arrival. Please contact us at inventory@taigatakahashi.com within 7 days of receiving your item, providing your order number and full details.
We will exchange the item for the correct product only if it is returned using the method designated by the Company. If the item is out of stock and an exchange cannot be made, a refund will be processed instead.
In such cases, the Company will cover the return shipping costs.

Please note that any return or exchange mentioned above is strictly subject to meeting all of the following conditions:
(1) The item being returned or exchanged must be unused. (Items without product tags will not be considered unused.)
(2) All item accessories, attachments, and the delivery note must be returned in the exact same condition as when they were delivered.
(3) Any other conditions separately designated by the Company.
