LOT.111 WORK SHIRT

This work shirt is based on designs from the 1930s.
Work jackets and shirts of the period were designed with specific tools and belongings in mind, resulting in many garments with asymmetrical pocket layouts. These details, which can be seen as a form of stylistic beauty, are one of the defining charms of the era before mass production.
The fabric features a printed check pattern inspired by vintage textiles. By applying a garment-dye process, the print and dye overlap to create a layered effect, producing a sense of depth in color reminiscent of aged fabrics.
Through dyeing, the outlines of the pattern are subtly softened, drawing out a gentle, mellow expression—like that of a textile shaped by the passage of time.
