LOT.719 U.S. ARMY M-35 DENIM PANTS
Choose options
The denim pants worn by members of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) trace their origins to trousers developed in 1908 for the Army Coast Artillery Corps. Like the pullover, these pants were officially registered in 1919 as “SPEC6-124.” After slight modifications to the pattern, they were re-registered in 1933 as “SPEC6-124A.”
One of the defining features of the design is the large patch pockets on both the front and back. At the time, sizing was rather approximate, so the waist was designed with a cinch-back for adjustment.
Stitching was usually done with white thread, but gray thread was also occasionally used. Lot.719 incorporates this detail into its design.
The fabric is a newly developed original 9oz denim, created through analysis of vintage denim from the era. It features green-cast indigo-dyed warp yarns conceived by Taiga Takahashi himself, combined with undyed, natural-toned weft yarns. While preserving the vintage color tone, the yarn count and density were carefully adjusted, resulting in a rich texture distinct from standard left-hand twill denim, thanks to its 1/2 right-hand twill weave.
Our products are dyed with natural dyes, so there may be uneven dyeing, but it is a characteristic of the product. Please note that the color may fall or migrate when exposed to sunlight, friction, or wetting with water for a long period of time. Please avoid layering with white or light-colored items. The iron accessories used for tack buttons, rivets, buckles, etc. are faithfully reproduced in the details of old times, and since the materials have not been faithfully processed to prevent rust etc, Therefore, there is a possibility that the accessories may rust or become dangerous (sharp pin tips) when used. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents or damages caused by the use of this product, so please check the product thoroughly and make sure you understand the product. About Size and Dimensions Even for the same item, there may be individual differences of 1 to 2 cm due to the production and processing process. Tucks and gathers are measured by placing the garment naturally without spreading it out and adjusting the shape of the product.
