An iconic denim jacket by Taiga Takahashi.
Vintage selvedge denim jackets are woven on narrow looms, making a center or side back seam inevitable when grading to larger sizes. While the seam placement varies by era and model, this design takes reference from vintage examples where the seam is subtly positioned along the side. A relaxed fit is proposed to accommodate layering and heavier inner garments.
Custom-engraved buttons and back hardware are made from iron. By intentionally leaving the metal unplated, the surface is designed to oxidize over time, allowing the wearer to enjoy the natural aging process.
The signature leather patch is mud-dyed in Amami Oshima.
