After comparing and studying the sewing, patterns and parts of American undershirts manufactured from the 1910s to the 1970s, we have arrived at a basic crew neck, long sleeve T-shirt. The fabric is a heavyweight waffle made from American cotton. Waffled textiles characterized by uneven surface are warm, breathable and stretchable, making them the choice for the U.S military use as undershirt fabrics. To make it suitable as an outer wear, T.T uses a heavyweight waffle fabric woven with double-strand two-folded yarn for added volume.The cuffs replicate the circular knitting, two-tier ribbing typically used for undershirts in the 1910s.
