A V-neck pullover, frequently seen in the 1930s, was among the knitwear worn by members of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps). A similar sports sweater exists in the T.T archive, suggesting that this was a versatile style embraced across various jobs and everyday contexts.

While the original reference piece was made of wool, this version is knit with low-gauge cotton yarn treated with a faux-linen finish, resulting in a dry hand and a lighter weight suitable for spring and summer wear. Period photographs were consulted to determine the proportions, with a slightly shortened length and adjusted ribbing to refine the silhouette.
