LOT.224 M-43 FIELD TROUSERS

Based on U.S. Army field trousers from the 1940s.
The deeply set rise and straight, wide silhouette extending from the thighs to the hem reflect their original use as over-pants worn over other garments. The hem adjust tabs were designed to allow the cuffs to be cinched and tucked easily into boots; in later models, this function was replaced by drawcord adjustments.

The trousers are crafted from 100% wool with a dry hand and firm structure, further enhancing the clean, architectural quality of the straight wide silhouette.
