These pants are based on military uniform slacks worn in the United States during the 1930s.
Retaining the high waist and straight silhouette of the original, the design has been rebalanced for modern wearability.

While the original was made from wool, this version employs an originally developed twisted mélange gabardine. The fabric is woven using kemonogasuri yarns, which possess a texture reminiscent of animal hair, giving the surface a nuanced, organic character.

The textile was developed through analysis and reference to chambray fabrics used in Italian military trousers from the 1910s. By using two types of yarn in the warp, totaling four colors, the fabric achieves depth and a softly abraded, timeworn appearance.

A degreasing washer finish is applied in the final stage, resulting in a smooth, fluid hand.
