U.S. Army shorts, originally made in the 1950s at a military-designated factory in Texas, have been reinterpreted with a bold, wide silhouette.
The inner tuck of the two-pleat design extends into a center crease, giving the shorts a structured appearance that maintains a refined impression without becoming overly casual.
The fabric is a high-density back satin woven from a blend of cotton and hemp. Hemp yarn is used for the weft to add the natural coolness characteristic, while open-end spun cotton yarn is used for the warp, creating a supple and richly textured finish.
