LOT.023 COAL BAG HORSE LEATHER

A coal bag from the 1920s served as the basis for this design. Commonly used when coal was a primary source of fuel, these bags were simple in construction—typically just canvas with handles—but highly valued for their strength and utility in daily life.

This piece is reimagined with a new silhouette that retains the original rivet construction while incorporating stitching details inspired by the Newsboy Bag. IVORY and BLACK combine heavy-duty canvas for the body with leather reinforcements on the bottom and handles.
