In addition to the classic IVORY, this season's edition features the brand's symbolic "mud dyeing" and the new garment dyeing with "Binchotan charcoal" and "techi (Yeddo Hawthorn) wood". "Binchotan dyeing" uses powdered charcoal in small kilns to obtain a unique texture. "Techi wood dyeing", used to dye the base of mud dyeing involves boiled extract of techi wood bark on Amami Oshima Island. The reddish-brown color, something that cannot be replicated with chemical dyes, gives the T-shirt a distinctive, natural appearance.
