The new-style coat combines a 1940s American work coat and a 1940s British work coat. Based on AW21's LOT.401 Engineer Coat, this item is redesigned for a lighter volume, by removing the front belt and changing from fly front to facing finish, maximizing the advantages of the material. The fabric, our original oatmeal (tweed) featuring linen weft, is inspired by nearly a century old deadstock recreated with Shetland wool to mimic the dry wool. Various colors are blended to the yarn for a further depth.
