The stand-up collar jacket is a variation of LOT.706. Defined by the flat sleeves attached vertically to the shoulders without slopes, the jacket strikes a perfect balance between the relaxed, elegant flatness of a kimono and the structural flatness of reasonably simplified American workwear. Specifically custom-made rivets are used in areas designed to receive intensive stress. Our original dense west-point fabric (=uniform twill) woven on an old-type power loomis used. West-point fabric (=uniform twill), a kind of chino cloth, derives its name from uniforms of the United States Military Academy West Point. Using two ply fine combed cotton yarn thinner than regular chino cloth, the dense and glossy high- quality fabric is said to be originally made for senior officers' uniforms. Specifically custom-made rivets are used in areas designed to receive intensive stress. The buttons, backside parts and rivets marked with original engravings are all made of iron, which is uncoated by design to produce aged beauty over time. Our original nut buttons are made of natural coconut shell noted for its soft and warm quality.
