LOT.306 COSSACK JACKET

This blouson extracts elements of an item called a cossack jacket made of thick wool fabric that existed in the 1930s. In terms of the pattern, it has been redesigned with armholes positioned more toward the front, three-dimensional sleeves that swing forward, and a straight collar. The double-weave melton fabric with a high Shetland wool blend is used, with twisted yarns in both the warp and weft. MIX BEIGE and MIX BROWN are two colors twisted together in both the warp and weft, creating an original and complex color palette. The back of the front is made of a blanket material woven with undyed wool yarns. Only the sleeve backs are made of rayon for better sleeve perforation. Bakelite, the world's first man-made plastic, was invented in 1907. However, it was more expensive, harder, and more difficult to process than today's plastic materials, so it was gradually replaced by today's inexpensive plastic materials. However, they have a strength, warmth, and beauty that cannot be found in today's plastics, and although they are man-made materials, they are materials that allow us to feel the warmth of handmade work.
