The work pants might have been worn by British railroad workers in the 1940s. Pants of that era are typically overalls with flat silhouettes that normally require suspenders. For this item, we used a rare design featuring with a back yoke. The distinctive slit pocket design on the sides accentuates the linear silhouette. Following the tradition of the era, we use metal buttons with slightly peeled lacquer. The original waist-point fabric is treated with LOGWOOD GRAY, a natural dye, and Amami Oshima's mud dyeing.
