The engineer pants are inspired by the workpants in the 1940s. Because the fabrics at the time were not durable enough to withstand hard labor, each pocket opening is reinforced with a patch equivalent to rivets in jeans. The high-rise pants have a wide silhouette from the thighs to the hems. The fabric is our original twisting-mottled whipcord, resulting from our study of vintage swatches from the 1940s. The reverse side is lightly brushed."Whipcord" came from the thick and prominent twill pattern, looking like a horsewhip.
