The engineer pants are inspired by the workpants in the 1940s. Because the fabrics at the time were not durable enough to withstand hard labor, each pocket opening is reinforced with a patch equivalent to rivets in jeans. The high-rise pants have a wide silhouette from the thighs to the hems. Using our original twill fabric woven on old-type power looms, we achieved beautiful nuances of shifting colors. Like Rakuchanwan's ceramic glaze technic, three colors of dye are used with different timings to produce iridescent gloss on the surface, resulting in a unique and uneven tone distinct from uneven dyeing. Each item presents a visual delight with a one-of-a-kind shade.
