Lot.202 Engineer Trousers
Based on work pants manufactured by Can't Bust'Em in the 1940s.
The fabric was researched from an antique cotton linen fabric found in New York City, believed to be from the early 1900's. By mixing American cotton with wool and linen, we were able to reproduce it perfectly.
Since the fabric of the time was not durable enough to withstand hard labor, a reinforcing fabric was attached to each pocket opening to act like rivets on jeans, and the pants were redesigned to take advantage of these specifications.
