Based on the open collar shirt made in the US in the 1950s, the shirt has a rather relaxed body shape and enough length for tucking in. The print on the cotton-rayon fabric is a meticulous replication of the Japanese paper (washi) wallpaper of Sabi, a tearoom inside T.T, a comprehensive art space designed by Taiga Takahashi. The wallpaper is made of joined and pasted hand-made Japanese paper (washi) pieces, each of which carrying manually drawn ink patterns. This is a special work created by Taiga Takahashi in collaboration with "Kamisoe", a karakami paper workshop in Nishi jin, Kyoto.
