Blanket vest based on 1940's brown beach vest. Made of a blanket material with excellent moisture retention properties. The thick fabric has been made minimalist by omitting the back seam and instead using a single piece of piping. Piped detailing on the placket, armholes, and pockets rounds out and contrasts with the flat pattern. The original fabric was created by adjusting the blend from the cotton stage to replicate a blanket fabric found in Minnesota. The raised finish gives the garment a fuller, fuller feel.
