LOT.104 BAND COLLAR SHIRT

A dress shirt from the 1910s, found in New York. The collar seems to have been removable so that it could be taken off when it got dirty, and the design was made to reflect the state of the missing collar at that time. The construction of this shirt from the 1910s is quite unique. The shoulder line has no shoulder slope, and the sleeves are straight with armholes at the sides. The pattern was formed with more straight lines than I had expected. The curve of the hem was redesigned from the previous season's Lot.104. The fabric is made of 100% American cotton with an uneven yarn and produced on an old shuttle looms in JAPAN. 100%COTTON
